Tim A. Kroencke is Professor of Finance at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance at the University of Mannheim. Before joining the faculty in Neuchâtel, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Basel. His research focuses on empirical asset pricing. His recent projects deal with return predictability over time and in the cross-section. He is particularly interested in the role of fundamental news in explaining the empirical patterns and how investors can benefit from them. His work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Finance and the Review of Finance.
