Maik Schmeling

Maik Schmeling is a Professor of Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), London. He is working on topics in macro-finance and especially at the intersection of empirical asset pricing, international finance, and monetary policy. His research has focused on issues of risk premia in foreign exchange markets, the effect of monetary policy on financial markets, and the impact of market frictions on asset prices. His work was published in journals such as the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, or the Journal of International Economics.
